 Nice decoratation but worthless otherwise May 23, 2010

My kids received it as a gift and despite our best efforts, we couldn't get it to make even one snow cone. No matter what we tried (letting the ice cubes sit out for 10-15 min, fewer cubes, more cubes, smaller cubes) the machine jammed almost immediately every time. Since it was a gift and don't know where to return it, it will go in the trash (can't even donate it).

Excellent product, easy to use. My niece loved it. Although she cut her hands washing the blades, so maybe an adult should do that and not a 12 year old. But it's a great item!
